Figure Animation Rigger :: November 2010 - June 2011
  • Preparation of Maya data for Motion Builder for controlling, mechanical systems to run animatronic figures
  • Organization and restructuring of hierarchical data sets from Solidworks, management of software assets
  • Creation of 3D software models to match the current engineering specs of existing models in the Disney parks

Dimensional Designer :: August 2008 - June 2011
  • Optimization of translation process, and 3D modeling, for utilizing Pixar Maya files for rapid prototyping and milling
  • Design of AutoCAD/Illustrator files for laser cutting and etching to produce parts for scale models
  • Operation of ATOS II to scan, evaluate and clean scale 3D models for area calculation and milling for Show Set/Architecture

  • Developed and modified 3-D models for presentations - optimization of poly counts and textures was important for real time rendering - created low poly and LOD models for foliage etc.
  • Created animation media for park location tests.
  • Audio and video editing and rendering in Aftereffects and Final Cut Pro. Menu design and DVD authoring.
  • Python Scripting in Maya to prepare conversion to Panda 3D.
